Today, Shoes for Kids ~ The CPC Impact Project for the month of April has collected shoes for the Shoes for Kids Project sponsored by the Family Access Network. Today we will dedicate these shoes. Thank you for your support.
Discovering CPC ~ Pastor Andrew invites all who are interested in learning more about our church and/or considering membership to attend this class on Sunday, April 22, at 12:15. Lunch is provided. Please contact the church office if you are interested in attending.
New Reading Plan ~ April 9 - June 23 ~ is now available by the sign-up sheets in the narthex. Please take one home and start reading the Book of Acts.
Legacy Giving Seminar ~ Sunday, April 29, at 12:30 with lunch provided. Rev. Dr. Rob Hagan of the Presbyterian Foundation will host a seminar to provide information about planning for legacy giving, the joy of giving, giving now and later with wills, IRAs, insurance, donor-advised funds, trusts, and endowments. All members and friends are welcome. Please sign up in the narthex.
Fair Trade Coffee ~ order before April 30 from Gloria Irwin or Luann Johnson (contact through the church office). Visit the online site of equalexchange.coop to see the availability of wholesale tea or coffee by the case.
Celebration of Life Service for Ron Gunderson ~ Monday, April 30, at 1:00 pm.
Healthy Cooking Class with Holly ~ May's theme is "Surprise Ingredients--healthy swaps for your everyday meals!" Sign up in the narthex for class on Tuesday, May 1, 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Cost is $5-$10 per person (give as you are able) and includes the dinner, recipes, and instructions. Class size is limited to 20 people.
Men's Breakfast ~ Wednesday, May 2 ~ You won't want to miss the last men's breakfast until next fall: Jack Nelson will be our guest speaker and share "the rest of the story" from his piloting days. Please sign up in the narthex to reserve your spot.
Save the Dates for the 2018 Parking Lot Sale ~ set-up on Wednesday, September 13, with the annual sale on Thursday and Friday, September 14-15. Please consider volunteering for the sale and/or join the committe to help with the organization. The first committee meeting will be Thursday, May 10, at 3:00 pm. Bible and Brew ~ Saturday, May 19, 4:00 p.m. at 7th Street Brew Pub. Come prepared, thirsty and hungry for knowledge and fellowship. The discussion topic for May is the Parable of the Talents [Matthew 5:14-30], be ready for an engaging conversation with others.
Ping Pong Table Wanted ~ Do you have a ping pong table that needs a new home? Please call the church office if you would like to donate yours to the youth group. Thank you!
Sound and Projection Volunteers Needed ~ The Sound and Projection volunteers need you! Please call the office if you would like volunteer to help run the sound system or projection system at either the 9:00 am or 11:00 am worship.
Per Capita ~ You can now choose to pay your Per Capita online! Go to www.redmondcpc.org click on the GIVE NOW BUTTON and choose the Per Capita option. This year’s Per Capita is $32.00 per person.
College Coffee Crew ~ Come enjoy fellowship and spiritual enrichment with our College Coffee Crew. The group meets
weekly on Mondays, from 7:30 to 8:30 am at Green Plow Coffee Roasters, 436 SW 6th St, downtown Redmond.
Sunday Morning Kitchen Helpers Needed ~ The Food and Fellowship Team needs extra helpers in the kitchen on Sunday mornings. If you are available to volunteer, please contact Sharon Lynch through the church office.
