Christmas in October! ~ This year the CPC Children will be helping Samaritan’s Purse with their service project, “Operation Christmas Child.” Children around the world, who would otherwise have nothing, will be blessed with a box full of goodies. If you would like to help our children fulfill another child’s Christmas wish, please consider donating to this project. You can find donation ideas in CPC’s October Lamplighter, page 9. Carole Kardy will be accepting donations on their behalf in the narthex today and next Sunday.
Date Change for Angelfest Holiday Bazaar ~ New Date is Saturday, November 4, 9 am to 3 pm in Teddy’s Hall. The tables will be full of gifts and assorted goodies. CPC’s MOPS Ministry ~ is going strong. In fact, so strong at the first meeting in September, we had over 60 children in our classrooms. As such, we are in desperate need of assistance. Watching the children is based solely around your schedule and you would be in the company of our wonderful volunteers.
Juniper Springs Senior Living ~ is currently being built behind the church. If you are interested in learning more about this new community, you can find information in the narthex located by the sign-up sheets.
