Welcome to Community Presbyterian Church! Each week we are privileged to have new people attending worship for the first time, and we want you to feel welcome among us. Following the service please join us in Teddy’s Hall for fellowship and refreshments.
The Children’s “Traditional Christmas Pageant” will be held Sunday during the combined 10 am worship service.
Baptism ~ This Sunday there will be a baptism for Harper Elise Lipskey, daughter of Wes and Audrey Lipskey. Please join us in welcoming Harper into our church family.
Worship Schedule for December
Dec. 17 Cantata Sunday with Worship Times at 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
Dec. 24 Christmas Eve Morning one combined 10:00 am worship service.  
Dec. 24 Christmas Eve night there will be Candlelight service's at 5:00 and 7:00 pm.
Dec. 31 New Year’s Eve Morning one combined 10:00 am worship service.
Middle and High School Youth Groups ~ you are invited to a Christmas Party on Monday, December 11, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm in the youth lounge.
Ladies Study ~ Wednesday, December 13 will not meet in the Mountain Room, instead they will meet for lunch at E Bar Grill at 11:45 am.
Let’s Celebrate the Christmas Season! ~ come to Wednesday Night Supper on December 13, at 6:00 pm for CPC’s Christmas Party. Enjoy appetizers and a Christmas Carole sing-along. Please bring non-perishable foods for FISH or hats/mittens for the tree.
Christmas Basket Gift Tags ~ the tree in the narthex is up! The tree is filled with name tags of children from the families that the Deacons provide with Christmas Dinner Baskets.  The gift with tag attached is due back at the church on Dec. 17.  Basket Distribution is scheduled for Dec. 23.  Monetary Donations will also be accepted for the food boxes by placing them in a Deacons envelope, from the pew rack, and putting it in the offering plate.
Alternative Christmas Gifts ~ Following worship services Sunday in the church narthex, you may purchase gift certificates in any amount to benefit Jericho Table and/or the African Mission Program. These gifts bless the donor as well as those who receive them.
Winter Volunteer Opportunities
Jericho Table: call Chris Slabaugh through the church office.
Redmond Cold Weather Shelter: call Richard Lance through the church office.
Memorial Christmas Decoration Fund ~ Those wishing to donate $5.00 towards purchase of Christmas sanctuary decorations in honor/or in memory of a loved one, are asked to fill out a pink slip located on the narthex table. The form can be left in the offering plate or in the church office by Dec. 20.  And on Sunday Dec. 24 a list of everyone who donated, with their loved ones names, will be published in the Sunday bulletin.

            5:00 pm – Worship with the Praise Team
            6:00 pm - Soup & sandwiches in Teddy's Hall
            7:00 pm – Worship with the Chancel Choir
If you could make a pot of soup for the supper, or help with the cleanup please sign up on the sign-up sheet in the narthex.
If you can volunteer to usher please call Linda Shaw at the church office. Please volunteer so our visitors can have an enjoyable Christmas Eve Worship.
The CPC Singles Group ~ will be meeting at Brenda Parrott’s house for a Christmas Potluck, Saturday December 30 at 5:00 pmPlease use the sign-up sheet in the narthex if you plan to attend.
New Beginnings Stewardship Campaign ~ Thank you so much for each pledge, 103 pledges have been returned to date amounting to $286,660. If you’re still considering a pledge, the pledge cards are available in the pew racks. Thanks for participating in our New Beginning.
Sunday Adult Education Classes ~The Mtn. Room Class and Library will meet together in the Mountain Room for an Advent Study titled

Library News ~ The library is in the process of being updated and seems to be missing a large number of books. If you have any CPC library books on your shelf, please return them to the library, no questions asked.
