Rev. Phil Brown
Temporary Supply Pastor
Rev. Phil Brown is a transplant to Central Oregon. He grew up in the mountains of Colorado, went to college in the Midwest, and lived in the South (Atlanta) for 15 years where he went to seminary (Columbia Theological Seminary) and pastored. Phil was an Associate Pastor at St. Luke Presbyterian Church in Atlanta for 12 years. He was also on the national team for the Vital Congregations Initiative, coaching pastors and churches through seasons of renewal.
In 2021 they journeyed to the West Coast to be closer to family. He is currently a licensed contractor and home inspector and sits on the Warm Springs Presbyterian Church Commission. Phil is also a Certified Flight Instructor, flying full-time with Bend Aircraft with hopes of flying with the airlines. Kara, his wife and he have two kiddos, 8 and 10, a dog, cat, lizzard, and axolotl.
Nancy Berry
Administrator
Nancy has served CPC for ten-plus years in office administration and has been involved in the Presbytery of the Cascades. She served as Associated Stated Clerk, Commission on Ministry, and Vice Moderator for the Central Region. Nancy is also a member of the Administration Personnel Association PCUSA. She is currently co-leader of the Presbyterian Women’s Bible Study here at CPC and the Clerk of Session.

Nancy is an avid gardener and enjoys quiet time in her garden, canning, and preserving the fruits of her labor to share with family and friends. Nancy is a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 4. Nancy’s experience and heart for serving our CPC community are a blessing.
Karen Baldwin-Kuntz
Director of Music Ministries
Karen Baldwin-Kuntz (pronounced Koonts) is excited to work with the wonderful musicians here at CPC and to praise the Lord and enhance worship through music. She and her husband, Don, recently moved to Redmond to be closer to some of their grandkids and enjoy semi-retirement. They have five children and six grandchildren. Karen has 40 years of musical experience as a participant, teacher, and director.
Gina Sherrell
Communications Coordinator
Gina is a follower of Jesus, wife of Todd, mama of five kiddos, one daughter-in-luv, six cats, and a mini goldendoodle puppy, Bella Joy. She has worked in customer service, communications, and office administration for over 16 years. Their family lived on the Young Life camp Washington Family Ranch in Antelope, Oregon, serving youth and churches for 22 years, and over three years ago, God called them to Redmond/Terrebonne, Oregon.
She loves being active outside, worshiping Jesus with her guitar, exercising, journaling, playing board games with her kiddos, snuggling pets, training/playing with her puppy, and watching movies and documentaries.
