Men’s Ministry

CPC Quilters

The CPC Quilters are a dedicated group of volunteers who meet weekly to create quilts and handmade items that bring warmth, comfort, and care to people in need throughout Central Oregon.

 

When do the Quilters meet? 

The Quilters gather every Thursday at 10 AM in a warm and welcoming environment.

 

What do the Quilters make?

  • Hundreds of quilts

  • Pet beds and pet throws

  • Bibs and burp cloths

  • Tote bags

  • Adult bibs

  • Table runners and wall hangings

  • Numerous handmade items 

Where do the quilts and items go?

Most items are delivered to local agencies and distributed to individuals and families in need throughout our community.

Why this ministry matters

The Quilters combine creativity, compassion, and fellowship to bring warmth, comfort, and dignity to people across Central Oregon. Their work is a beautiful expression of Christ’s love in action.

Sermon Zoom Discussion
The Sermon Zoom Discussion is a weekly small group that meets to reflect on Sunday’s sermon and grow together in faith.   It’s a welcoming space for conversation, connection, and thoughtful engagement with Scripture.

 

When does the group meet
The group meets every Sunday afternoon at 4:00 PM on Zoom and wraps up at 4:40 PM.

What happens during the discussion

  • Reflecting on the day’s sermon

  • Sharing insights and experiences

  • Asking questions and exploring Scripture

  • Encouraging one another in faith


Who is this group for
Anyone who wants to go deeper into the sermon, connect with others, and enjoy meaningful conversation in a relaxed, online setting.

Spiritual Growth Zoom Meeting

The Spiritual Growth Zoom Meeting is a weekly gathering for peaceful reflection, fellowship, and shared devotion.  It offers a calm, welcoming space to pause, connect, and grow in faith together.

When does the group meet
The group meets every Thursday at 4:45 PM on Zoom and concludes at 5:20 PM.

What happens during the meeting

  • A short spiritual devotion shared by one of the participants 

  • Time for reflection and gentle conversation 

  • Encouragement and connection in a relaxed setting

Anyone seeking a quiet, nurturing space for spiritual growth and community.

This weekly rhythm provides a peaceful moment in the week to breathe, reflect, and draw closer to God alongside others.

Caregivers' Support Group

The Caregivers’ Support Group is a welcoming space for anyone caring for a loved one to find encouragement, understanding, and community. This group offers a gentle rhythm of connection where caregivers can share experiences, receive support, and walk alongside others who understand the journey.

Who is this group for

Anyone caring for a spouse, parent, family member, or friend — whether the caregiving is daily, occasional, or long‑term.

What happens during the gathering

  • Sharing stories and challenges

  • Offering mutual support and prayer

  • Learning from one another’s experiences

  • Finding rest, hope, and companionship

Monthly Lunch Bunch

The Monthly Lunch Bunch is a relaxed, friendly gathering where people enjoy good food and great conversation at local restaurants. It’s an easygoing way to connect, meet new friends, and share fellowship in the middle of the week.

What to expect

  • Warm, welcoming conversation

  • A casual meal together

  • A chance to get to know others in the CPC community

  • A simple sign‑up in the narthex to ensure enough seating

Who is this for
Anyone who enjoys good food, good company, and easygoing fellowship.

Parkinson's Support Group

The Parkinson’s Support Group is a monthly gathering for individuals living with Parkinson’s and the caregivers who walk alongside them. It offers encouragement, shared understanding, and helpful resources in a compassionate, supportive setting.

What happens during the meeting

  • Guest speakers who share insights on Parkinson’s care and wellness

  • Time for conversation, questions, and mutual support

  • Access to helpful resources for both individuals and caregivers

Who is this group for
Anyone living with Parkinson’s, as well as spouses, family members, and caregivers seeking connection and support.


Why this group matters
This group provides a safe, understanding space to learn, share, and find strength together — reminding every participant that they are not alone.

CPC offers joyful fellowship opportunities throughout the year that help our church family connect, celebrate, and grow together.  These gatherings create space for friendship, laughter, and meaningful community.

Annual Fellowship Events

  • White Elephant Christmas Party — A lighthearted holiday tradition full of joy and laughter.

  • Angelfest — Our festive Christmas bazaar featuring handmade items and seasonal cheer.

  • Coffee & Cookies — Every Sunday after worship, we enjoy a warm time of conversation and connection in the Fellowship Hall.

Iglesia Betsaida
(Spanish Church)

Iglesia Betsaida is a vibrant Spanish‑speaking church community that gathers for prayer, Bible study, worship, and fellowship. All ages are welcome to come, grow, and experience the love of Jesus together.

Friday Prayer & Bible Study
Fridays • 6:45–8:00 PM • All Ages Welcome

Friday evenings begin with a heartfelt time of prayer, lifting up the needs of our church families and community. After prayer, we share enriching Bible studies that encourage spiritual growth and connection.

Sunday Worship & Bible School
Sundays • 12:00–7:00 PM

Experience a full and uplifting Sunday with Bible School followed by a dynamic worship service. After worship, everyone is invited to stay for fellowship over food and coffee. The warmth and love of the Iglesia Betsaida community make every person feel welcomed, valued, and embraced by the love of Jesus.

Creative Roots Preschool

Creative Roots Preschool provides nurturing, high‑quality care and early childhood education for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.  
Each classroom is designed to support children at every stage of development, offering a safe, joyful, and engaging environment.

Age‑Based Classrooms

  • Acorns — Infants and 1‑year‑olds

  • Saplings — Ages 2 to 3

  • Wild Oaks — Ages 3 to 4

  • Mighty Oaks — Ages 4 to 5

Each class offers age‑appropriate learning, play, and social development guided by caring, trained staff.

Scouting America
Scout Troop and Cub Pack

CPC is home to both a Scout Troop and a Cub Scout Pack through Scouting America, offering youth opportunities to grow in leadership, character, and outdoor skills. These programs provide hands‑on learning, teamwork, and meaningful experiences for children and teens.

Scout Troop (Ages 11–17)
Meets Tuesdays at 7:00 PM

The Scout Troop is designed for youth ages 11–17 and focuses on developing leadership, outdoor skills, and strong character. Scouts participate in camping, service projects, merit badge programs, and activities that build confidence and responsibility.

Cub Scout Pack (Kinder–5th Grade)
Meets Wednesdays at 6:30 PM

The Cub Scouts program is created for younger children, offering age‑appropriate adventures that build skills, confidence, and teamwork. Kids learn through fun, hands‑on activities that encourage curiosity and character.
