Get Involved
Community Presbyterian Church invites everyone to develop as disciples of Christ throughout their lives. We provide numerous chances for lifelong learning, Bible study, and fellowship. Additionally, various groups meet throughout the week for shared spiritual experiences. Please refer to the calendar below, as we will be resuming these activities soon.

Men's Bible Study
Weekly on Fridays at 8 am. The group meets mainly for fellowship and to build stronger bonds with brothers in Christ. Over the years, our curriculum has varied from Bible studies, to reading specific books, to weekly devotionals.
Quilter's Group
Weekly on Thursdays at 10 am. Quilters continue to use their time and talent to produce quilts and other items for those in need. During the year 2024, the quilters produced about 250 quilts, 75 pet beds, 25 pet throws, as well as numerous items such as bibs, burp cloths, bags, adult bibs, table runners, wall hangings, and numerous items for Angelfest. Most items are delivered to local agencies and then distributed to those that are in need.

Bible Study
Weekly on Wednesdays at 10:30 am. This co-ed group of adults gathers to engage in thoughtful discussions centered around Scripture Union's Encounter with God Bible study.
Sermon Zoom Discussion
Weekly on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm. This is a small group time of connection and meaningful discussion. Together, we reflect on the day's sermon and share our experiences, blending thoughtful study with engaging interaction. Our gathering wraps up at 4:40.

Spiritual Growth Zoom Meeting
Weekly on Thursdays at 4:45 pm. This is a space for peaceful and enriching fellowship and reflection. Each session features a spiritual devotion thoughtfully chosen and shared by one of our participants. It's a wonderful opportunity for growth and connection and concludes at 5:20.

Caregivers' Support Group
Every other Wednesday at 9 am. The Caregivers' group offers valuable guidance and support for those caring for a loved one with dementia—a journey that can be both challenging and heartbreaking. Together, we navigate this path with understanding and compassion.

Presbyterian Women's Bible Study
Monthly on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 12:30 pm. Presbyterian Women Purpose: Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.

Our study curriculum is purchased through PCUS-PW/Horizons Bible studies, which links all Presbyterian women in a shared experience across the Presbyterian Women’s network.
The CPC Presbyterian Women faithfully support our Presbytery Mission church at Warm Springs each year by providing warm winter clothing, essential hygiene supplies, and food for their community pantry.
Mental Health Bible Study
Monthly on the second Wednesday at 1:00 pm (RSVP required). This group is for those supporting a loved one with mental health challenges, which can be difficult at times. Connect, share, find faith-filled encouragement, and resources in our community.

Singles Lunch/Dinner Group
Meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at local restaurants (when the daylight is longer, it is dinner; when the daylight is shorter, it is lunch). Enjoy delicious food and great conversation!
Parkinson's Support Group
Monthly on the second Tuesday at 1:00 pm. This time is dedicated to both individuals with Parkinson's and their caregivers. We often have guest speakers, and there are plenty of resources available.

Fellowship Opportunities
Every year, we look forward to our Church Barbecue, White Elephant Christmas Party, and Angelfest (our festive Christmas bazaar). Plus, we cherish our weekly coffee and cookies fellowship time. Come and be a part of our joyful community!
CPC Missions
Through the Mission Team, Property Team, and Session, CPC has supported the Redmond community partnering with Mountain View Community Development’s Safe Parking program since February 2024, and is leasing space downstairs for Creative Roots Preschool that opened in January 2025.
Other Mission Team projects included collecting and delivering school supplies to Family Access Network (FAN), collecting and delivering warm clothes to FAN, collecting and delivering hygiene items for the Sunday Pop-up Picnic (for people experiencing homelessness), picking up litter in Dry Canyon, doing a Helping Hands Fall yard clean-up for members of the congregation, starting a Blue Bag cans and bottles program, and staffing the annual Parking Lot Sale to raise funds for the African Kisauni Mission Project.

We continue our financial support from the church by donating to the following organizations that support people who are hungry, houseless, living impoverished, our ongoing sponsorships of CPC Boy Scouts Troop 27 & Cub Scouts Pack 27, and/or those who are underserved in Central Oregon:

Jericho Table, Jericho Backpacks, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Safe Parking, Habitat for Humanity, Bethlehem Inn, Mountain Star Relief Nursery. FAN, Redmond Senior Center, Latino Community Association, Warm Springs Presbyterian Church, Warm Springs Community Action, Family Kitchen, Oasis Village, Shepherd’s House, Community Partners of Central Oregon, NeighborImpact, and Kisauni Africa Project.

Our Mission team has had the ability, through our congregation’s generosity, to help feed hundreds of school children in the Kisauni church in Mombasa, Kenya. They have also helped hundreds of girls by providing needed hygiene products.

The Mission Team warmly invites you to join us in the unique and meaningful work we are doing to love and care for those in need, both in Redmond and beyond. Together, we can spread love, hope, and support to those who need it most. Come and be a part of something truly special!"
